TEACHER
Leanna Rozen and her Dance Partner from Berlin
Leanna is a professional dancer, originally from Ukraine and currently living in Berlin. Classically trained in Ballet from the age of 4, in later years she discovered her love for other styles of dancing (modern, tribal, belly dancing and flamenco), while studying for her degree in dance and dance rehabilitation. While working with different school projects, combining arts and regular programs. Leanna danced in a variety of dance companies and became a choreographer of vintage dance/cabaret dance company. Which lead into the world of social dancing in the late 2000’s. Dance for Leanna is an organic movement and connection, It should feel as good as it looks, not only creating aesthetically pleasing lines but also playing with rhythms, dynamics and whatever energy you and/or your partner bring to the dance, creating a conversation, story telling or a journey. For her, it is the visual representation of music. Letting the music inspire your creativity and take you to places where you can dive into a different world. Where your dance skills become the natural reflex and drive you to your next discovery.
WORKSHOPS
BALBOA:
Getting creative by the Classics. Footwork, variations and self expression.
BLUES:
Saturday: From Delta into New Orleans. Spiral of movement.
Sunday: From Slow Blues to high speed, playing with footwork and musicality.

Location for the workshop is: Sports hall of the Reutersbrunnenschule, Reutersbrunnenstraße 12, Nürnberg
Friday dance location is Weinerei, Königstraße 33-37, Nürnberg
Saturday evenings dance location is not clear yet. We try to get the Studio 4 at the Tanzfabrik (https://www.tanzfabrik-nuernberg.de/service/anfahrt/)
COSTS
CLASSES
Members of 1.BWC: 10 € per Workshop Part
Non-members of 1.BWC: 40 € per Workshop Part
Non-members of 1.BWC + students/pupils/apprentices: 30 € per Workshop Part
Pay: Cash at check-in.
You can become a member of the 1. Boogie Woogie Club Nürnberg to qualify for the discount. The association offers Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop and Blues dancing and much more.

Blues Will Eat Festival
Sadly the Festival has been cancelled. Thats why we will have a normal Training Evening.
