The street music festival „Bardentreffen“ will happen in Nürnberg city (it’s for free!) with lots of live bands on big and small stages, so we don’t plan a Friday’s party but find Swing and Blues bands in the city and meet for dancing in the streets. Info on Bardentreffen: bardentreffen.nuernberg
We will open a messenger group so dancers can organize to meet.

Teachers
ERAN & ANNETTE met each other years ago on the dancefloor and – after rounds and rounds of fantastic dances – they realised they had a very similar idea of smooth connection, clear body movement and original musicality, all with a generous helping of dance humor. As teachers they want to share their vision of great social dancing with you. No one knows what they’ll cook up but it’ll sure have a bit of everything: Rhythms and moves, shapes and style, class & sass, grounded individual and beautifully partnered movement.
ERAN’S passion for dancing has taken him almost literally around the globe. Travelling for dance and seeking inspiration in his path to finding his own voice on the dance floor has shaped him to be the dancer, teacher and performer he his today. Eran believes that a focus on body movement frees people to enjoy any dance, no matter what music is playing. His own dance versatility helps him bridge the gap between styles and dances. In his classes, Eran enjoys drawing comparisons to everyday life experiences to help dancers easily master even the most complex movements. Do consider yourself warned though: Behind his soft smile is an adamant teacher who won’t stop until you feel you got it.
ANNETTE hails from Heidelberg, Germany and is one of Europe’s most prominent proselytisers of blues dance as a teacher, social dancer, DJ and organiser. Her love of teaching and dancing are infectious and if you’ve travelled for blues, you probably already knew that! Annette is excited to be teaching in beautiful Nürnberg again and she is looking forward to helping you bring out your inner awesome!
LEVELS
Lindy Hop Workshop is not for beginners. Please read about the levels below. DE: Du tanzt seit mindestens einem Jahr Lindy Hop und hast Lindy Hop Tanzkurse besucht. Du beherrscht die wichtigen Basic Figuren mit 6- und 8-count Grundschritt, Lindy Charleston, Swing out und Variationen der Basics. Du gehst regelmäßig zum Social Dance. Du willst an deinen Basics, Styling, Musikalität und Geschwindigkeit weiter arbeiten. MORE THAN A HOBBY – LINDY HOP invitational EN: For this level you need to send us a short letter (to anmeldung@lindymaniacs.de) telling us about your dance experience and skills. As we keep this class small, we will either send you the registration link for this class or recommend the Saturday’s int+ class to you. DE: Wenn du dich im advanced Level siehst und hier deine basics trainieren möchtest, schicke uns eine kurze E-Mail (an anmeldung@lindymaniacs.de) , in der du uns von deiner Tanzerfahrung und deinen Fähigkeiten erzählst. Da wir diese Klasse klein halten, schicken wir dir entweder den Anmeldelink dafür oder empfehlen dir die Samstags-Int+ Klasse. BLUES – All levels DE: In diesen Unterrichtsstunden ist für alle etwas dabei, egal ob du Blues schon seit einer ganzen Weile tanzt oder erst seit kürzerer Zeit Fan bist. The DIXIE BONES Pop music of days gone by. The Dixie Bones play a mix of popular classics and rarely played rarities. From New Orleans jazz, blues and Dixieland to the swing era with small flashes of rhythm & blues. Old jazz and good mood music played by professional musicians. ANNETTE likes her blues to cut straight to the bone with rhythms so compelling that you can’t help but dance! CLASSES BALL NIGHT Individual registration is mandatory. Requirements: You’ve been dancing for at least 3 years very intensively and you have built up a lot of experience. You have attended lots of (international) workshops. You go to social dances regularly and feel safe with your dancing, no matter to what tempo or with what partner you dance. You are ready to go back working on your basics. You have no trouble comprehending and copying figures, styles, rhythms that you see. You might even be a teacher at your local scene.
Voraussetzungen: Du tanzt seit mindestens 3 Jahren sehr intensiv und hast jede Menge Tanzerfahrung gesammelt. Du hast schon viele (internationale) Workshops besucht. Du gehst regelmäßig zu social dances und fühlst dich sicher beim Tanzen, egal in welchem Tempo oder mit welchen Partnern. Du bist bereit, wieder an deinen basics zu arbeiten. Du kannst schnell Figuren, styles und Rhythmen, die du siehst, erfassen und nachtanzen. Vielleicht unterrichtest du sogar in deiner lokalen Szene.

LIVE BAND
They are well established in the jazz scene and play in many jazz clubs and at jazz festivals.
DJ
She has spun for countless blues events worldwide and is excited to see dancers rush to the dance floor and work it! You’ll recognize her at the DJ stand; she’s the one who can’t help but dance while queuing the next song.

Members of 1.BWC: 15 € per class
Non-members of 1.BWC: 40 € per class
Non-members of 1.BWC + students/pupils/apprentices: 25 € per class
TTT class – free if you book the LH invitational class, otherwise: 10 €
